NATURAL PARK the Munt

Day: Sunday 2 February 2014. Meeting place: Cal Quitèria (Post). Time: 8 am, with own vehicles.

Data: 14,5 km, temps real 4h15′, positive slope 577 m, average real 3,5 km/h.

The clear, little gent (6) i fred (+3º C to Sant Cugat) a route grateful and very interesting (staggered and loops), the steepest slope of San Lorenzo de Munt, Eastern. Cold wind from the north east areas of higher, Castellassa Dalmau and the long neck.

Journey to paths, some of them cleared and spectacular presence strawberry tree pine trees and monuments (Scotch of Palleret)!

From the parking area the road in San Lorenzo Savall, under the Lady of the Sands, We ascended to the first rung of St. Lawrence, until Castellassa Dalmau.

We have taken the path of Mering, we could not finish for security reasons (a pas rock mullada i sense Preses).

We have fallen to climb the next rung, up the road Lady, we followed it comes up, the Castellassa.

Not down the Channel Gentile, We made a loop down to the Col and Mal Pas Mal Pas

and achieve at, Can the Castellassa Torres (829 m).

Descent of the Sot Matalonga Return to the stream.

Splendid views of the Pyrenees, Matagalls and snowy Montseny, Montnegre, Tibidabo Mar.

The closest thing to tropical rainforest must be Canarian laurel and some shady areas that we crossed in air, com avui, San Lorenzo or in Montserrat.

Description: A little adventure to the most abrupt of St. Lawrence. We move to the Km. 13,100 Road Sabadell St.. Llorenç Savall, Once past Castro Valley. Get on the basis of Castellassa Dalmau, flanking to get to your neck. The climb to the top is optional. Find the path of Maringa that continue south, Slipped through the, Red Cova (optional) and mushroom (curious rock), to reach Castellassa Can Torres (spectacular monolith). Sot the back of Matalonga, to cars. Duration: 4 a 5 hours. Difficulty: Media with uneven terrain.

Ascent: 500 m Pujada acumulats. Equip: Winter weather seconds, calçat adherent, water and breakfast. Cost: 2 € i Socis 3 € in Socis. Travel expenses shared.

It is mandatory accident insurance (The FEEC ongoing or temporary). Who has not, must complete prior name, i cognomen of NIF.
