Dia Internacional de les Dones
El 8 de març s’ha convertit en un símbol per a les dones dels cinc continents. Des del Districte de Sants-Montjuïc s’han organitzat una sèrie d’activitats per celebrar-ho. Dimarts 12 de març se celebra l’acte unitari a les Cotxeres de Sants
Amb motiu de la celebració del Dia Internacional de les Dones, el 8 de març, el Consell de Dones de Sants-Montjuïc i diverses entitats han preparat un ampli ventall d’activitats. Xerrades, tallers, teatre, exposicions o dinars són alguns dels actes que hi ha previstos dur a terme, fins el 20 d’abril, amb l’objectiu de destacar com ha viscut i viu la dona al llarg de la història i en l’actualitat.

El Consell de Dones de Sants-Montjuïc és l’òrgan de participació de les dones dels barris de Sants-Montjuïc. Hi participen grups, entitats i dones d’arreu del districte, representants polítiques i tècniques de l’Ajuntament. Aquest consell es reuneix en plenari amb una periodicitat bimensual i en comissions de treball per tractar els temes o els assumptes que són d’interès públic i que fan referència a les dones.
