La Mostra d?Entitats del Poble-sec i el Fem Paral·lel tot un èxit de participació

Els veïns del Poble-sec i també de la ciutat van poder trobar moltes oportunitats de fer servir el temps lliure perquè més de 75 entitats del Poble-sec van sortir al carrer, també la fira de la terra, la mostra de comerç i salut del Poble-sec i la festa Fem Paral·lel que va permetre als visitants entrar als teatres del Paral·lel gratuïtament. Amadeu Quintana, president de la Coordinadora d?Entitats del Poble-sec, explica: ?No esperàvem la realitat que ha estat perquè el dia ha acompanyat i la gent ha sortit massivament al Paral·lel i això fa que sigui una realitat que al Paral·lel s?hi podem compatibilitzar moltes activitats i que potser hi ha massa espai per al cotxe i poc per a les persones?, i afegeix: ?Avui podem gaudir del Paral·lel i això és un plaer?.
El passat dissabte l?avinguda del Paral·lel va convertir-se en una mostra de totes les activitats que es poden trobar al barri, la cultura, el comerç, les entitats i un mercat de la terra que van omplir els 800 metres de carrer perquè els veïns i veïnes poguessin veure la gran activitat que, dia a dia, té el Poble-sec. Per segon any, les entitats van sortir al carrer juntament amb la festa Fem Paral·lel que va durar fins dels dues de la matinada i que va aplegar un bon grapat de barcelonins.
Jordi Hereu, alcalde en funcions, va comentar: ?Crec que l’obertura del Paral·lel a la ciutat és molt important i que la mostra es faci aquí fa que molta més gent pugui conèixer la gent que dia a dia tira endavant al Poble-sec?. També Xavier Trias, alcalde electe, va remarcar: ?Dóna molta vida que un carrer que no acabava de funcionar que hagi reeixit gràcies a un conjunt de gent que hi ha posat ganes doncs té molt de mèrit. Tothom fa una aposta pel Paral·lel perquè la ciutat recuperi il·lusió i alegria?
