Nomenada la coordinadora del projecte de fàbrica de creació de dansa GRANER ILLA PHILIPS

Cristina Alonso ha estat elegida per a coordinar el Graner, la nova fàbrica de creació de dansa ubicada a la Zona Franca en una antiga factoria de l?empresa Philips. Aquesta elecció s?ha fet després d?un procés de selecció al qual s?hi van presentar 25 candidatures. El Graner s?inclou dins el Programa Fàbriques de Creació de l?Ajuntament de Barcelona que té com a objectiu donar suport i recolzar la creació a la nostra ciutat. L?Institut de Cultura ha encarregat al Mercat de les Flors la gestió de l?equipament que farà amb una comissió de seguiment en la qual també hi participen les Associacions de Professionals i de Companyies de Dansa de Catalunya.

Cristina Alonso, cofundadora i codirectora de la plataforma de creació ÀREAtangent (2002-2010), creadora artística, assessora i productora, té l?encàrrec de coordinar el Graner durant 2 anys més 2 anys prorrogables.

El Graner és un espai de 1.000 m2 que disposa de 4 sales d?assaig, creació i posada en escena (des de la sala d?estudi plató de 240m2, passant per 2 sales d?assaig de 100m2 i una sala de recerca individual de 42m2). També disposa d?espais d?oficines i gestió per a l?acollida de projectes de producció així com la resta de serveis necessaris per la producció de propostes coreogràfiques.

El Graner acollirà residències de creadors de dansa i desenvoluparà projectes de cooperació artística amb altres agents culturals de la ciutat, a més de promoure la integració de l?espai al barri, entre d?altres objectius.
