“LA GRIP” VACUNEU-VOS

Les vacunes estaran disponibles en els centres d’atenció primària i altres centres vacunals de l’1 d’octubre al 30 de novembre de 2007

El Departament de Salut va iniciar el passat dilluns 1 d’octubre la campanya de vacunació contra la grip, en la qual s’aplicaran de forma gratuïta prop de 1.500.000 dosis de vacuna antigripal, tant en persones pertanyents a grups de risc com en els altres grups de població a qui va adreçada.

La temporada 2005-2006 es van distribuir a Catalunya 1.336.507 vacunes als centres d’atenció primària i altres centres vacunals de Catalunya. Això va suposar un 70,2% de les 1.902.708 persones susceptibles de vacunació.

La vacunació antigripal s’adreça especialment a les persones que tenen un alt risc de complicacions si pateixen la grip com són:

Persones de 60 anys d’edat o més.
Persones internades en institucions tancades: residències geriàtriques, centres de malalties cròniques i malalties mentals, etc.
Adults i infants amb malalties pulmonars o cardiovasculars cròniques, inclòs l’asma.
Adults i infants que han estat sotmesos a vigilància mèdica o hospitalització durant l’any anterior a causa de malalties cròniques metabòliques (inclosa la diabetis mellitus), malalties renals o hepàtiques cròniques, hemoglobinopaties i anèmies, asplènia, malalties neuromusculars greus o immunosupressió (incloses les causades per medicació o pel VIH).
Infants i adolescents (dels 6 mesos als 18 anys) tractats durant un llarg temps amb àcid acetilsalicílic i que, per tant, poden desenvolupar una síndrome de Reye després de la grip.
