ACTIVITIES FOR THE ELDERLY

We currently have three stores in addition to 36 own premises provided by various entities (including 7 CX Espai, Caixa Catalunya), where courses are taught 101 weekly, attended by 2,830 users served by 187 teachers.

These activities are carried out in one or more of said premises in the days and hours that are posted in the relevant section, and cover a multitude of topics such diverse areas as:

• Language Teaching

• Cultural Activities

• Artistic Crafts

• Work and Crafts

• Computing

• Physical education

• Development of Social Services

• Other activities

PROGRAM EMPREX

EMPREX Program was founded in 1995 when the European Union announced a competition for innovative ideas to mark the International Year of Older People and Solidarity between Generations. Conex presented the project "School MPR" (Mastership, Improvement and Recycling) who was awarded one of two prizes awarded to Spain.

This program, their size, have a different treatment and is given a room of 895 m² located in the Travessera of Les Corts in Barcelona.

Specific activities are being developed to help unemployed people in work to improve their training in order to get a job. The main focus is on courses
