Career By – Dual training in Bavaria

Dual training in BavariaA new proposal of dual training in Germany that has come through the Goethe Institute and the regional government of Bavaria.

The name of this initiative is: Career BY and its main objective is to offer the possibility of young Catalans form a contract in Germany, through its dual system.

This project is funded and promoted by associations of the following areas: metal, electrical industry, fusteria, hotels and restaurants, social services, etc. You can check complete list of profiles. Regional authorities, District and County Cham Wunsiedel also involved.

The program aims to select more 130 graduates of secondary or vocational education, of between 18 in 35 years with German language skills, for a total of 38 different profiles (see attachment). The selected students will remain in Germany for a period of 2 a 3 and a half years. After finishing his studies in Germany could receive a job offer.

The process is as follows:

1. Completing the nomination by the party (before 12 d’ abril 2013)

2. Selection of candidates by the project promoters (end of April 2013)

3. Curs d’alemany a Barcelona (of 22.04.2013 al 31.05.2013)

4. Traineeship in Bavaria and German course (of 03.06.2013 al 26.07.2013)

5. Top of dual vocational training in Germany and German course (01.09.2013)

The promoters of this program held a briefing day 12 d in April a Labour School in Barcelona, at 10:00 am and will then interview from 15.00h the Goethe Institute. Those interested can send an email to: sammet.sabine@bbw.de with the following information:
