What is Social Entrepreneurship

It took us four days of intensive discussions and several learning exercises to understand what social enterpreneurship is. We came to a conclusion that a social enterprise is a business model that firstly focuses on resolving social issues rather than concentrating on making profit. It is a new approach to business for which the social impact of the product is more important than the product itself and the sustainability and respect of ethics are the core.

As for the enterpreneur himself, he must be visionary, ambitious, creative, always ready to learn more and have the courage to rebel against the status quo. His key competences must include social skills, flexibility and a good sence of business running.

We believe that social enterpreneurship could help save the parts where traditional business is causing collateral damage.
